LeTourneau University Director of Fine Arts Dr. Jim Taylor has been invited to conduct a festival concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 10, 2019, where he will premier his new 20-minute composition for choir and orchestra, titled Cambridge Songs Suite No. 2.

Artwalk Longview

Spring ArtWalk, April 11

ArtWalk Longview will host its Spring ArtWalk on April 11 in Downtown Longview starting at 5 p.m. Artists will be exhibiting on sidewalks and in local businesses. The Arts District will be hosting a booth at Silver Grizzly featuring local artists' works that will be up for auction. Learn more at the Artwalk Longview website.

Signing the Letter of Intent

Letter of Intent Signing

The Longview Arts District hosted a Letter of Intent Signing on January 8, 2019. The event was an overwhelming success and supported by many community members, local business owners, and government officials. The Arts District obtained more than 100 signatures for their Letter of Intent.
